In his thirty years of practice, Dan has represented businesses and governmental entities in complex business transactions, litigation, and intellectual property matters.

Dan’s transactional experience includes corporate formation, corporate acquisitions and dispositions, large construction, real estate, and commercial lending (origination, workouts, and enforcement), and intellectual property issues (such as software licensing, protection of trade secrets, trademarks and copyrights, research, development, marketing, and confidentiality agreements).

In business disputes, Dan has represented businesses ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies in matters of antitrust, infringement of intellectual property rights (including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets), loan enforcement, contract disputes, and litigation of regulatory disputes.

A substantial portion of Dan’s practice has involved representing Indian tribes, including matters related to water, gaming, real estate, contracts, construction and financing, tort claims, and elections, including transactional matters and litigation in the federal, state, and tribal courts.
