How I Serve Clients

I serve my clients by understanding their needs and strategic goals.  I then provide both broad legal and practical business counseling and advice to help them achieve their goals and solve their issues in a timely and cost effective manner.  Ultimately, it is my job to mitigate my clients’ exposure to commercial liability while at the same contributing to their commercial success.

Exceptional Client Service

As a Corporate and Commercial Transactional lawyer my philosophy and goal is to contribute to the commercial and financial success of my clients while at the same time mitigating their exposure to commercial liability.  This requires a thorough and complete understanding of my clients’ needs and goals and providing very broad practical legal and frank business advice.

I believe  my client service must be timely and in a cost effective manner.  In any commercial transaction the goal is to assist the client in first determining whether the transaction makes financial sense and further the client’s strategic goals, and second, to make the “deal happen.”  I don’t “over lawyer’ any commercial transaction because I understand that my corporate and business clients’ primary objective is to achieve commercial and financial success while their liability exposure is mitigated.  The most succinct answer to what I do for my clients is “I Solve Their Problems.”

How My Background Helps Clients

In my over 16 years of corporate and transactional experience I have represented clients ranging from large corporations to small business and individuals in every aspect of hundreds of broad, diverse, and unique business transactions.  This experience has provided with the opportunity to utilize my legal knowledge in a strategic and analytical manner.  Moreover, my understanding of the “business” aspect of my clients is derived from having an undergraduate degree in finance.  My experience is that of a trusted advisor and counselor to owners and executives from large corporations to small businesses.

When I am Not in the Office

I am very involved in my local community.  I passionately believe that education is the key to improving the socio-economic conditions of the individuals in my community.

I also passionately believe in trying to make the lives of children better.  To that end, I serve on various community boards which focus on improving the socio–economic conditions of children through education, advocacy and youth sports related activities.  Aside from my community involvement, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, cycling , running, golfing, and wine tasting.
