Our Technology and Emerging Practice Group is comprised of attorneys who have served in significant in-house and general counsel roles for bio-technology companies and laboratories, and who hold advanced degrees in the sciences. These attorneys have experience in the development, approval, and market commercialization of pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and medical devices.
Our attorneys have long worked with clients concerning the life-cycle of bio-science and pharmaceuticals. This life-cycle often begins in the research and testing stages, with a corresponding need to secure capital to carry out these operations. As the research becomes promising, we help clients obtain regulatory approval and developing strategies concerning intellectual property protection and commercialization. Once regulatory approval is obtained, the next step often concerns negotiating licenses and technology transfer arrangements.
