Six attorneys from Rusing Lopez & Lizardi were recognized as being among the top lawyers in the Southwest by the national rating organization Super Lawyers. This is the 10th consecutive year that the firm’s lawyers have been named to the list.
Named as 2016 Southwest Super Lawyers were firm partners Mick Rusing, Pat P. Lopez III, Oscar S. Lizardi, Mark D. Lammers, and Daniel J. Quigley. Earning recognition as 2016 Southwest Rising Stars was Patricia V. Waterkotte.
“This recognition illustrates the number of incredible people we have in our firm, providing outstanding service to our clients,” said Rusing, who founded the firm in 1992 with Lopez, a Stanford Law School classmate. “We always strive to have great lawyers and great people in our firm, and we’re happy to see others recognize that.”
Super Lawyers is service rating outstanding lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement in more than 70 practice areas. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.
Only 5 percent of attorneys in the Southwest receive Super Lawyers recognition. Only 2 percent receive Rising Stars recognition.
The RL&L attorneys were selected in various business and corporate categories, including real estate, business and civil litigation, securities, banking, mergers and acquisitions, professional liability, and personal injury.
