Anthony Casarona became the newest Equity Partner at RL&L in January 2023, and leads RL&L’s Scottsdale office.
Anthony Casarona is a corporate and transactional attorney who specializes in mergers and acquisitions, organizational and strategic planning matters, and serving as outside corporate general counsel. Prior to joining RL&L in 2021, he ran his own practice, Casarona Law Firm in Scottsdale.
Anthony also has over 20 years of experience representing health care and life sciences clients on both regulatory and transactional matters, including 8 years in-house with CVS Health in roles in the company’s pharmacy benefits management (PBM) segment and enterprise-wide mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining CVS Health, Anthony was an attorney with Latham & Watkins LLP and Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, both in Washington, DC.
Since moving to Scottsdale in 2008, Anthony has been active in several local charitable organizations, including most recently completing a two-year term as the Board President of the Miracle League of Arizona. He has also been an advisor on a national level to several other non-profits and entrepreneurship programs.

Anthony earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his juris doctor from Catholic University of America-Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C.
