A seasoned corporate lawyer and management team executive with over two decades of experience, Dan has established himself as a versatile business leader in Arizona. His background spans diverse sectors including higher education, real estate, construction, sports, technology, and hospitality.
Dan’s practice focuses on serving as outside counsel to midsize companies across a variety of industries. As a partner at RL&L, Dan concurrently serves as fractional general counsel (GC) at American Fence Company, overseeing all legal matters for the largest fencing company in the U.S. Previously, Dan was General Counsel at Grand Canyon Education, Inc., and Assistant General Counsel at UHaul International, Inc. He began his legal career at Arizona’s largest law firm, Snell & Wilmer LLP.
Dan earned his J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from the University of Kentucky. He is currently pursuing an executive certification in “Artificial Intelligence for Business” at the Wharton School. In his community, Dan serves as President of the Arizona Chapter of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels and is a board member at Desert View Learning Center. Previously, Dan served on the boards of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Scottsdale, the Men’s Art Council (Phoenix Art Museum), and the Arizona Sports Commission.
