Samuel Maltry joins Rusing Lopez & Lizardi as a member of the firm’s transactional, real estate and intellectual property departments.
Sam’s practice is formed by a unique combination of financial, regulatory, and entrepreneurial experience. He holds a JD and MBA from Belmont University and a BSBA in Finance from the University of Arizona. During law school, he supported legal work at the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, where he managed contract drafting and legal research in emerging regulatory sectors including sports regulation and healthcare.
Previously, Sam interned at Tigress Financial Partners, a boutique investment bank, where he supported capital markets transactions and investor due diligence. He is also a co-founder of Maltry Motorcars, a classic car restoration business where he helped, alongside his brother, manage custom projects, negotiate contracts, and foster client relationships. Sam’s legal approach is client-centered, business-informed, and results-oriented.
