We have 25 years experience representing Native American tribes and their economic enterprises.
Due in large part to their successful gaming operations, many Native American tribes have become strong economic and political forces in their regions. We have extensive experience representing Native American tribes and their economic enterprises in a wide range of transactions and in litigation. The head of our Gaming and Native American practice group has nearly twenty-five years’ experience in all aspects of tribal gaming, including constructing and financing Indian gaming facilities, federal, state, and tribal gaming regulation, internal controls, software licensing, and contracting. Our lawyers have negotiated and litigated significant water rights matters, litigated land use matters, negotiated and litigated disputes over gaming compacts, and have been involved in tribal election matters. Although we generally represent Native American tribes or their enterprises, we also advise parties who do business with tribes or tribal enterprises.
