Often among those needs are employee arbitration agreements or policies, which require special, jurisdiction-specific advice. Our employment practice also includes the drafting and negotiation of employment contracts for key employees and executives and special compensation plans, severance plans, and change of control plans that help ensure that executives are retained or properly exited upon a change of control or other key events in the evolution of a company, including navigating the requirements of Section 409A penalties.
